Traffic medicine
You can have the medical examinations for the medical requirements for driving motor vehicles carried out by us.
Articles 7, 9, 34 and 65 para. 2 let. d of the Traffic Licensing Ordinance describe the minimum medical requirements for driving motor vehicles.
These requirements are divided into 2 levels. Level 1 applies to car and motorcycle drivers over the age of 75. This examination must be repeated every 3 years.
The following applies: Medical group 1 - license holders of categories: A, A1, B, B1, D1, 106; 3.5t, F, G, M.
Level 2 applies to truck, cab and bus drivers. This examination must be repeated before starting work and every 5 years or every 2 years from the age of 50. The following applies: Medical group 2 - license holders of categories: C, C1, D, D1, BPT.
In the case of documented driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, the responsible authorities may require a medically documented period of abstinence. This is usually done in the form of a detailed certificate after several months of analyzing random urine samples, taken at irregular intervals and with a short notice in the practice under supervision.
All traffic medical services are the responsibility of the patient and have no illness or accident value.
The following rates apply in our practice:
For a level 1 MFK test: CHF 80
For a level 2 MFK test: CHF 100
For a drug test: CHF 50, including collection, analysis and certificate
